Chants d'Auvergne

As a budding composer in Paris in the 1900s, Canteloube sought inspiration for his music in Auvergne in central France where he was born, collecting songs from rural and mountainous regions. Between 1923 and 1954 he published a total of thirty Chants d’Auvergne, set for voice and orchestra.

Purcell recording wins BBC Music Magazine's Recording of the Year 2020

BBC Music Magazine has awarded the Signum release of Purcell’s King Arthur directed by Paul McCreesh, Recording of the Year 2020.

The recording features Carolyn alongside Anna Dennis, Mhairi Lawson, Rowan Pierce, Jeremy Budd, James Way, Roderick Williams, and Ashley Riches, accompanied by the Gabrieli Players.
